Data transparency

How did Fahras get your contact details?

If you received an email from Fahras and want to understand where your address came from, this page explains the chain of custody — and gives you a one-click way out if you'd rather not hear from us again.

The short version

Your business contact details were sourced from publicly available Saudi business registries — typically chamber-of-commerce directories, sector associations, or other public listings of registered Saudi companies. You never signed up for Fahras; we reached out as part of introducing the directory to the Saudi business community.

Why we contact businesses cold

Fahras is a public-good directory: the more complete it is, the more useful it is for every buyer, supplier, and job-seeker in the Kingdom. To build it, we have to reach out to every registered Saudi business once — to introduce the platform and invite the owner to claim or update their listing. After this one introduction, you only hear from us if you explicitly opt in.

Your rights under Saudi PDPL

Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) gives you specific rights over how your data is used. You can: (1) ask us to delete your record entirely, (2) ask us to stop sending you emails, (3) ask us to correct anything wrong, or (4) ask for a copy of what we hold about you. Email privacy@fahras.info from the address in question and we'll act within 30 days.

One-click out

Every email we send carries an Unsubscribe link in the footer. One click removes you from all future Fahras emails — newsletters, weekly digests, the lot. You don't have to write to anyone, justify yourself, or log in. We respect the unsubscribe instantly and permanently.

Operator and accountability

Fahras is operated by Much Information Technology (Saudi CR 7038460742). The data controller is Much IT; the data processor is Much IT. We do not sell, rent, or transfer your contact details to any third party — they sit in our database to power the directory and that is the only use.
